No 9 Park: Located near the financial district – critically acclaimed as one of the best in New England.
Mistral: South End – Very busy bar scene. An excellent place to go, especially if you are in a group. Fun busy bar. One of my fave spots.
SRV: Great Italian place in the South End. A $45 tasting menu?! Best value in town.
Uni: This place is STILL busy and thriving with awesome sushi
B&G Oyster: A fun and cool place. Great place for Oysters located in the uber cool South End.
Toro: Tapas located in the cool south-end neighborhood.
Le Petit Robert: A French bistro in New England. Tiny room, fantastic ambience.
Zaftigs Delicatessan: Awesome Brunch – open every morning.
OYa: Super chic and modern and cool and hip sushi spot
Sorellina: Expensive carbs
Yvonne's: It's a supper club, bar, cool hangout and some great people watching.All in all a fun night out.
The Butcher Shop: Nothing like it anywhere else….if its good for Giselle and Tom – its good enough for me. Barbara lynch from No9 Park fame has opened up this place. It doesn’t take reso’s but it’s in a great neighborhood to ponder in before you get your table. It’s a tiny place and vegetarians may want to stay away…..obviously!
Clink: Must go place in Boston – in fact you gotta go! Located at the Liberty Hotel
Sportello: You have to make your way to the Seaport District and this is where you should dine.
Eastern Standard: Upscale cool diner close to Fenway – go after a Red Sox game…actually go even if there isn’t a Red Sox game!
Carmelina's: A trip to Boston requires a juant to the North End neighborhood and this place is the spot. try to get a window seat overlooking the street.
Prezza: Another North End gem. Known to be a cool date spot as well as a great place to watch the game at the bar.
Little Donkey: When the names Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette open up a restaurant in New England - you go! Take an Uber to Cambridge and get there. Excellent!
Saltie Girl: Popular anf very good. Perfect for brunch.
Black Lamb: When looking for a cool brunch spot I always look for the hip neighborhood and then focus on a restaurant. The Black Lamb fits all the criteria.My fave spot for brunch.
XV Beacon: Excellent boutique property.
The Newbury: The Spot to stay in Boston. Superb location and property.
Four Seasons: Great spot across from Boston Common
Ritz Carlton: Closer to the financial district. Outskirts of Boston Common
Fairmont Copley: Excellent Back Bay location. Near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
W Boston: A bit out of the way, but acceptable. Close to the financial district. I’m kinda done with W’s
Liberty Hotel: Awesome property, cool concept from an old jail house, great Beacon Hill neighborhood.
Mandarin Oriental: Prime Back Bay address on Boylston. A shiny new hotel!
The Langham: My hotel of choice in the financial district.
Bristol: Located at the Four Seasons. The perfect, classy and busy New England lounge.
Oak Room: At the Fairmont. Decent place for a casual cocktail.
Alibi: At the Liberty Hotel – an old jail.
Back Bay Social Club: This is place is what you think of when you come to Boston.
Beehive: Fun Jazz bar – very busy
Yvonne's: It's a supper club, bar, cool hangout and some great people watching.All in all a fun night out.
Sullivan's Tap: Boston is one of the best sports towns so you need to hit up the mother of all sports bars.
Kennedy Library and Museum: At UMass. Such a great place to visit, especially if you have an interest in history and politics.
Charles River: Run it, Run it, Run it! Ask your hotel for a route..you can run as little as 5km and as much as 22km. You’ll run by MIT, Harvard, Cambridge….a definite must.
Fenway Park: How can you go to Boston and not go to a Red Sox game.
Boston Common: There is something called “the walk”…it goes past many historic sites.
Feneuil Hall: Stay away – too many tourists.
Beacon Hill: Another place I love to visit. Quaint neighborhood with cafes and boutiques.
Newbury Street: Very cool, hip street, trendy boutiques and the upscale retail stores. It is Boston's "main drag".
Prudential Centre: This is Boston's mega mall.
Seaport District: Is the cool new kid on the block or the shiny new toy. Make sure you spend some time and hang out in the new and upcoming area.
Gracenote: Simply the best coffee shop in Boston.
Tatte Bakery and Cafe: There are a few of them around Boston. When you see one - go in!
Tracksmith: Not only a place that has coveted premier running clothes, but they have an absolutely fantastic running group (open to all levels of runners) that meets at the store on Tues, Thurs and Sunday.
